Burgess Meredith (Nov 16, 1907 - Sep 9, 1997) was an actor from Ohio who appeared in four episodes of The Twilight Zone. In a career that spanned sixty years, Meredith is well-remembered for creating the role of the Penguin on the original series of Batman. He also appeared in such films as Rocky and Clash of the Titans. He is tied with Jack Klugman for the most guest-starring appearances on the original series.
