This was the forty-eighth issue in the 1962 The Twilight Zone comic series, published by Gold Key Comics

Series information[]

Main article: The Twilight Zone (Gold Key)

Publication details[]

This issue was published in color as a saddle-stitched pamphlet on newsprint. The size was typical of Standard Silver and Modern Age comics and consisted of 36 pages, including ads. The cover was dated March, 1973 and priced at fifteen cents (American).

This issue contained five stories—four fully illustrated and one in text format. Each of the illustrated stories over one page in length was introduced by Rod Serling as the Narrator.

With the publication of this issue, the title would assume a monthly printing schedule with the exception of the months of February, April, June, October, and December (i.e., issues were printed for the months of January, March, May, July, August, September, November). Though considered by Gold Key Comics to be a monthly schedule, the title essentially retained the bi-monthly schedule but with an extra issue being printed during the summer, specifically the month of August.
